HouseMaster was the first company to franchise in the home inspection industry. Since our inception in 1979, HouseMaster has performed over three million home inspections and has grown to approx 320 franchises. Our company culture focuses on franchise relationships, support, technical proficiency, proven marketing methods, aggressive risk management tools and cutting edge technology.

Unlike other home inspection franchise companies, all of our franchisees are certified by our National Institute of Building Inspectors (NIBI).  Our franchisees are committed to continued education and annual re-certification.  We have trained tens of thousands of agents over the years on everything from common conditions found on inspections to  environmental concerns, risk management and pre-inspections.

HouseMaster has been a featured presenter at international real estate tradeshows and are a regular presenter at many local board meetings and new agent training programs.  Aggressive PR campaigns, and the success and reputation to back them up, have landed HouseMaster in the national spotlight.  Interviewed by media giants such as the Associated Press, Fox Business, The Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN, HGTV, USA Today and the NY Times, HouseMaster is the recognized authority on everything home inspection.

Franchisees will begin as owner operators, performing the inspections. They are fully trained and certified as part of their initial training. Once they see considerable growth, they’ll bring on inspectors as the business scales, eventually becoming an executive owner if that’s what they desire.
