Diesel Barbershop Franchise
Description
Diesel Barbershops are the 21st Century version of the corner barbershop. They are passionate about providing clients a relaxing experience, a place they can be themselves, receive a top of the line men’s grooming service, all while enjoying a refreshing beverage. Plus, at every location, clients can watch their favorite sports on TV or relive heir childhood on one of their classic arcade games.
Diesel Barbershop was born out of Founder, Shayne Brown’s experience growing up around his mother who worked in a hair salon, where he received a good, reliable cut every time in a clean shop – and with very little drama.
Upon leaving his hometown, Shayne searched far and wide for a similar experience and instead, found bad service, terrible cuts, dirty environments, and indifferent attitudes. After working as a Financial Advisor and Real Estate Developer, he started conceptualizing Diesel.
Diesel is the result of that 20+ year journey that included feathered hair, mullets, goatees, and faux hawks.
The first Diesel Barbershop opened in 2011 in San Antonio, TX. It’s the modern-day version of the vintage corner barbershop, and appeals to what today’s customers want in a haircut experience: part barbershop, part old-school record store, and part arcade.
In short, a barbershop with high quality haircuts, shaves, beard trims, waxing services, and shoulder massages. All done while having a beverage.

Ownership Options:
- Owner-Operator – Employee structure
Owner Operators would likely serve in a manager type of role with customer service responsibility to start and marketing and networking as they scale. It will quickly become important for them to let go of day-to-day shop operation obligations. They want them focused on working on the business, not in the business. - Manage the manage – Employee structure
Multi-unit franchisees will hire a General Manager, who they will work with to manage their shops. The franchisee will oversee the finances and marketing of the shops. The General Manager will manage the managers of each shop, to ensure the day-to-day operations are running smoothly.
